Speaking Hands
As early as 2008, within the scope of project “Deaf Dialogue is Possible”, the “Dialogue” training and social integration centre for the deaf and hard of hearing opened in Yerevan through the assistance of the European Union. It provides more than 600 beneficiaries with free legal and psychological assistance, professional training and free literacy courses. So far the centre has organised over 200 literacy and sign language courses.

EU for youth with Mental Health problems
Promoting the rights of children and adolescents with mental health problems is the aim of an EU supported project, which launched a competition for journalists and screenwriters last year. A selection of the most successful articles and documentaries was announced on February 26.

Students of the French University in Armenia to be granted
On February 22 the l’Association Arménienne d’Aide Sociale (AAAS) will hold the ceremony of awarding the students of the French University in Armenia with grants. The ceremony will take place at the Henry Cooney Hall of the French University.

Contest dedicated to the Mental Health issues
The France Armenian Development Foundation together with “Company of children’s physiologists” NGO, since March the 1st realizes a project called “Promotion of the rights of the children and young people having mental health problems”.
